Take a Breath - Parkinson's CPD day

19 August 2017

Saturday 19 August 2017 9.30am – 5pm

Pavilion Dance South West, Bournemouth, BH1 2BU

We are delighted to offer this one-day CPD gathering to focus on physiological underpinnings and explorations around support and awareness for those living with Parkinson’s within our dance practice in community settings.

This will be a practical day and will also play with topics such as optimising support and adaptations. Starting the day with a warm-up from Lois Taylor, followed by facilitated sessions by Dr Sophia Hulbert, Anna Leatherdale and Aimee Hobbs.

Cost: £30 (this is a subsidised opportunity)

Spaces are limited (first come, first serve basis pending experience)

Previous training of dance for people with Parkinson’s or 3 years professional experience is essential.

If you would like to take part in this training day, please register your interest by emailing aimee@pdsw.org.uk, stating your previous training and experience of this specialist population.
