Renowned for her productions for Rambert, Northern Ballet and HeadSpaceDance, dance artist Didy Veldman launches her own company Umanoove with The Happiness Project, a choreographic investigation of western society’s endless search for fulfillment.
Inspired by sources from philosophy, music, theatre, dance and body language, this supremely physical and theatrical work is made in collaboration with celebrated violinist/composer Alexander Balanescu, who performs live, and designer Kimie Nakano.
