Cinema

Cinema at PDSW is back, with a twist! As a home for dance, in all its forms, we want to bring you the best of the art form in every medium. Starting this autumn, we will have specially curated seasons of dance on film and whether it’s a box office hit or a rarely-seen gem, we’re committed to offering you the chance to experience dance on screen.

Last season we showed documentaries that took you into the real lives of two ballet superstars. This season you’ll see stories, masterfully told by three Oscar-winning filmmakers – Richard Attenborough, Robert Altman and Taylor Hackford – and inspired by dance and dancers.
