A poetic response to Metropolis & Who Killed Bambi?

We are excited to have a regular reviewer for the Spring season of ‘Thursday Night is Dance Night’. Dave Young is a creative artist, poet, composer and performer, he is pleased to be invited back to PDSW to do poetic reviews for this season’s dance performances, following a good reception to his poetic responses at the Integrated Dance Summit in May. Here he reviews Metropolis & Who Killed Bambi? by Renaud Wiser Dance Company.

A poetic Response By David Young

Tasks,

Games,

Bricks,

In the city.

A killer challenge.

Team work, being together.

People together, but imprisoned.

Feet stuck.

Touching bricks, only bricks, The foundation.

Photographs and Looking,

looking about.

Different ways of being.

People doing their thing.

People bullying.

People hurting.

2 people.

1 person.

People are fragile.

Interesting.

Amazing!
