Relationship with PDSW:
Vilma Pitrinaite will be working alongside PDSW to build a bridge between communities and identities while developing choreographical research.
Vilma noticed that in a process of creation there often comes a time when she needs to open up for new stimuli in order to be able to step out of her head and take some distance away from what she is doing. During a two week residency in July 2019, Vilma will be in the studios of PDSW, carrying out research on a ‘rebellious body’, with the help of a supportive team of PDSW staff. Meeting with amateur and professional dance practitioners during this time, sharing practices and experiences or discovering the cultural background of a ‘dance community’ and the town.
