Who we are

Take Art Ltd runs the county dance agency and we support high quality performance and participation throughout Somerset. Take Art Dance provides year-round opportunities for people to see and take part in inspiring and accessible dance activity in Somerset.

What we do

For children and young people we coordinate and develop dance activity across the county, working with schools, arts venues and community groups.

For those people who want to dance we regularly work with practitioners throughout Somerset to make workshops and dance classes happen.

For dance artists and those working in the industry, we provide performance opportunities and support dance companies by staging events and residencies in Somerset venues. We also co-commission new work and generate opportunities for networking and professional development, offering training, mentoring and support.
