Joie de Vivre Short Dance Film Competition 2017

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting entries for the 2017 Joie de Vivre Short Film Competition.

We launched the Short Dance Film Competition in 2014. It gives an opportunity for celebration and recognition of excellent films for screen that feature older people dancing. The judges are Bob Lockyer (ex BBC), Diane Amans (freelance dancer), Fergus Early (Greencandle Dance) and Jane Hackett (freelance choreographer previously Director of Creative Learning at Sadlers Wells). They are looking for films which work in their entirety – bringing sound and vision together to make a captivating film of less than 5 minutes in length.

Films are welcome from every country in the world. Please read the criteria, competition details and background information before completing and returning your application.
