More than ever, dance has become a big business. This contemporary course gives you a chance to perform, produce, create, and collaborate within this ever-changing art form, and prides itself on creating the dance artist of the future.
We’re lucky enough to be partners with Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW), the National Dance Development Organisation for the South West. Through this unique collaboration, you will use their studios to work in, as well as the vibrant specialist creative arts university campus. It’s a perfect combination of both professional and educational environments. Their team will have input on industry links and play a key part in this degree programme, too.
From day one, you will experience a choreographic focus and throughout the course you will be encouraged to develop and test new creative ideas as a performer, choreographer and producer enabling others to experiencedance and a gain greater understanding of the industry.
Back on campus, you can make the most of our culture of collaboration, by exploring AUB’s creative community and all it has to offer.
You’ll finish with a degree and the skills to be a dance entrepreneur, capable of thinking about dance in new and relevant ways. It’s a competitive market, but you are one of a kind and have something great to offer. We’ll help you become a dance professional with an edge.
Our Open Days are a fantastic way to get a feel for studying at AUB, visit aub.ac.uk/opendays to book your place.
