Participation Producer (Maternity cover)
My role at PDSW is to support our Dance and Health program and to develop links in the community that build relationships with communities, organisations and individuals to encourage participation in dance and PDSW activities.
I draw from over 15 years’ experience of working with diverse communities, producing cross-art form and heritage projects and as a dance practitioner working with a range of ages in community, school and health settings.
Parkinson’s Dance Roll Out and Dancing for Dementia are two key programs for dance for health at PDSW. We run a flagship Parkinson’s dance class at PDSW on Friday’s and a roll out program in Dorchester, Sherborne and New Milton. I feel very humbled and honoured to work with some great dance artists and I have such a laugh with everybody taking part.
What is your favourite thing about working at PDSW?
