Empathy R&D – August 2014 (Day 1)

We’re back at Pavilion Dance to research and develop ideas for our first full-length work Empathy. Today’s rehearsal has been with dance artists Annapaola Leso and Aoi Nakamura. The duet has been inspired by John Berger’s ‘Why Look at Animals?’

​Productive day 3 with all 5 dancers coming together for the first time.

We worked on a 3-headed hybrid form made up of dancers Aoi Nakamura, Annapaola Leso and Julia Robert, followed by company fish and chips by the sea at the end of the day.
