Fusing the styles of Commercial with the grass roots of Jazz; you can expect a fast paced set of routines to some top chart classics. Inclusive of a warm up, isolation sequences, turns and kicks. Be ready for quick movements with wicked musicality. A workshop created and led by PDSW Artist Jazz Gritt.

More about Jazz’s professional experience:

Jazz Armani Gritt is a dance artist based down in the beach town of Bournemouth.  Jazz’s dance journey started as a part of Pavilion Dance South West’s first youth dance company ‘Evolve’ and progressed to training in multiple disciplines while at Creative Academy, but discovered his love of Contemporary for its integration of other styles. He completed The Ballet Boyz Dancers Course moved on to The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a Master’s Degree researching urban styles with contemporary dance movement. 

He has performed and toured multiple choreographers work around the UK; inclusive of Lenka Vagnerova, Tamsin Fitzgerald, and Daisy Howell. 

His projects have included commissions for Brink Dance Company, funding from Arts Connect for the educational work on the START project, Rehearsal Assistant for Birmingham Royal Ballet’s DREAMS project and now South West Dance Artists Network (SWDAN). Continuing with the aim of creating and delivering unique and inspiring opportunities, Jazz enjoys working with those aspiring to enter the dance industry or who simply love to dance!
