News Story
Lea Anderson, MBE, renowned co-founder and artistic director of The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs dance companies recently celebrated 40+years of style and design. She visited Bournemouth Library this March to talk about her creative life and her book celebrating her extensive work and the creative legacy she has left.
Her career as an independent choreographer, filmmaker and artistic director has taken her trailblazing work into non-theatrical spaces and venues across the UK and overseas. She chatted to Pavilion Dance's Artistic Director & Joint CEO, Dr Victor Fung about her extensive career, working with designers, musicians, artists, costume designers and the post punk era and what continues to inspire her passion for choreography and creativity.
She signed copies of her glorious book called: Lea Anderson's The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs: 40 Years of Style and Design.
We highly recommend you get your copy! A wonderful celebration of an iconic artist who continues to make a creative mark. Thank you Lea for your amazing contribution and fabulous book.
