Why did you decide to take part in BCD?
To be offered to dance with a professional is such a one off opportunity. I like to do things that are out of my comfort zone and challenge myself from time to time so I thought this would be a great experience, and do be doing it for two amazing charities is even better!
How did you feel when you realised you were dancing contemporary?
I don’t think I quite understood what ‘contemporary’ was at first but since starting my lessons I’m so pleased. I didn’t realise that it was such a beautiful style of dancing. Ryan has choreographed a lovely routine.
How did you co-workers react when they found out you were taking part?
They thought it would be great and they have been really supportive in asking how I’m getting along each week. Those that are coming to the event are really looking forward to the night.
What has been the highlight of your training so far?
We have a few lifts, so practising them has been entertaining, I have knocked Ryan in the jaw a few times by accident, poor thing!
