Job Description of Project Manager for Story of Odissi in the U.K project
Kala The Arts is an established South Asian dance organisation and registered charity based at Basingstoke with a portfolio of professional performances, education training and community programmes.
We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Project manager for our community Heritage Project which looks in-depth at the Heritage of Odissi dance in Hampshire and reaches out to local Asian communities, voluntary sector and wider communities and networks in Hampshire and U.K through learning and participation.
The person appointed needs to work from our office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
This post is funded by a grant from The Heritage Lottery Fund.
• The post is for 1.5 days a week over a 13 month period. A total salary of up to £11000 will be offered for the project.
• The post starts in June 2017 and is scheduled to be completed by June 2018. Experience of working with local communities, and an understanding of their Arts Heritage would be desirable. The person appointed needs to work from our office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
