At the end we begin by Richard Chappell Dance
Performed on 14 March, 2019
Using T.S. Eliot’s classic series Four Quartets as a point of departure, Richard Chappell Dance’s dynamic At the end we begin represents each poem with four arresting and emotionally fuelled quartets of dance. At the end we begin questions how time’s circular nature affects our understanding of ourselves and inhabits the sensitive and sometimes turbulent landscape of Eliot’s poetry.
Whilst combining Chappell’s distinguishable blend of ballet, martial arts, improvisation and contact work, At the end we begin dives into each performer’s unique skills with a rich palette of qualities. At the end we begin welcomes audiences into a tenacious and committed world of adrenaline, full-bodied chaos and personal sensitivity.
