Dance n Chat Lead Artist – Call Out

We are looking for a local experienced and dynamic youth dance practitioner to be the Lead Artist for Dance n Chat – an exciting multi-partnership project that utilises the 5 ways of wellbeing through dance to empower young people and nurture their wellbeing.

The Lead Artist will work closely with Lisa Lort, Dance Producer for Wellbeing, alongside a collaborative in-studio team, including a Dorset Mind  Health Practitioner and school representative to provide an excellent supportive environment to nurture self and creativity.

We actively encourage artists with different ideas, stories, and dance backgrounds to apply. We are a disability confident employer and open to considerations about how this role might be fulfilled.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in delivering high-quality youth dance and a confident experience of using dance as a tool to nurture wellbeing, whilst being able to demonstrate vision and imagination.
