Visiting Artists at Pavilion Dance – Open Call 2024 (June)

Call open: 21 June 2024

Application deadline: 5 August 2024

A space to breathe and explore by the sea…

Dance artists in need of creative space are invited to work in our beach-side studios as Visiting Artists of Pavilion Dance. You can test out new ideas or continue working on a project with support from a friendly and experienced team. We are particularly interested in artists who have not worked with us before and are interested in sharing their practice with others. Our venue is fully accessible and there is a bursary of £750.

There have been two open call outs this year for Visiting Artists.  This is our final one for residencies taking place 6 – 10 January 2025.

Two bursaries are available per call out – one to an artist based in the south-west, and one to an artist based anywhere in the UK.

We’re interested in artists finding a meeting point between their practice and our communities.

“Such a great programme, I’ll be recommending it to everyone!” – Sean Moss, Summer 2023
