CHILDREN & THEIR GROWN-UPS SHOWCASE “Plastic Paradiso” by Claire Benson

Performance information
1st October 2021
Running time: 60 minutes

“Plastic Paradiso” by Claire Benson, commissioned and presented by PDSW.

This is a sharing of work in progress and Q&A with the choreographer.

‘Plastic Paradiso’ is set on a lost island far, far away, which is surrounded by plastic. Can its only inhabitant discover the joy of nature and friendship?

Choreographer / Performer Claire Benson and Designer Holly Miller reimagine our household plastic as simple props which will be brought to life through puppetry and dance.  This immersive and interactive dance theatre show for children and their grown-ups that examines climate change, plastic pollution and their impact on the planet will premiere on Saturday 2 October.
