★★★★ ‘prepare to be mesmerized: a festival of Korean dance’ (Londonist, 2019)

Tomorrowisnowtodayisyesterday (TiNTiY) by Sung Im Her

Sung Im Her’s performance TiNTiY focuses on the impact of social media on our society, reflecting through dance on the oversaturation and oversharing of information and the impact it can have on not just the mind but the physical body.

Leaning in to the fun aspect of social media, Sung Im Her will play with memes, challenges, skits and other social media content whilst providing a narrative and an insight into the realities behind the façade.

Expect to see three dancers using overly produced gestures as they move between their individual and collective state.

Co-Commissioned by Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) (KR) & The Place (UK).  Additional support from FABRIC (UK), New Italian Dance Platform (IT), Duncan Center (Greece) Horizon Performance Created in England (UK), S’ala (IT), Zeit (IT).
