This sociable class explores a variety of dance and music genres to help maintain movement mobility and coordination in a fun and supportive environment. Through the medium of dance we explore how our balance and coordination feels in a non pressured manor as well as looking at exercises to strengthen muscles & increase confidence. Aimee has much experience in working in the dance and health sector and is sensitive to the needs & challenges of each individual, providing options to adapt movements to make them accessible for every body. The emphasis within this class is to move, and have fun and enjoy dancing in the company of others. We would welcome you to come and join us.
Aimee is a freelance community dance practitioner specialising in dance for older adults and more specialised sessions such as Dementia Dance, Dance for Parkinson’s and dance for people with disabilities. Aimee’s classes explore a variety of different dance styles with an emphasis on socialisation, mobility, confidence and Fun!
