Unlocking Creative Potential

15:30-16:30

It is well proven that dance has the ability to positively impact not only the body but also the mind for people living with Parkinson’s. In doing so, it has a significant impact in improving someone’s quality of life and wellbeing, however, how this is achieved is less well understood.

Wind down at the end of the day with a gentle sit-down cuppa and cake in hand conversation with Dr Sophia Hulbert in an explorative conversation, considering how dance helps people with Parkinson’s ‘find flow’ (physical and mental). A chance to share your experiences of creativity and its effect on your wellbeing and consider how this impacts your over-all quality of life.

We would love to offer this provocative moment of reflection and discussion and build the collective understanding of this evolving concept in Parkinson’s research.

This is an open, informal, no-need-to-book session. Do, bring along your cuppa and cake from the foyer, your questions and we can chat away.
