Introducing Chhaya Collective’s first series of Wild Women Retreats!

Welcome to GROUND:  The Wild Women Retreat  Embracing Autumn (Earth); reflection, mystery and change

This Wild Women Retreat is an opportunity to embark on a journey of creativity and self-discovery, through playful tools drawn from dance and performance practice.  No experience required, just a willingness to explore.  Drop in for a day, or join us on a series of four retreat days over four months, for a deeper dive into your emerging self this Spring.

Chhaya’s Wild Workshops aim to empower women to embrace their authentic selves; to step into their own voice, and into their own life fully.  Our day retreats provide a safe and supportive environment to reconnect with yourself, listen inwards and connect with others.  Using expressive tools including movement, voice, improvisation and play, we create space to explore our sense of being-in-the-world.  We call those who ache to shed a skin, to break out of the limitations of everyday roles, to dive into freedom and play in connection with others. Our retreats follow the cycle of the seasons, as we move from Autumn’s grounding, Winter’s huddle, to Spring’s bloom and Summer’s rise.

Throughout the day we travel between action and reflection, including drawing, writing and discussion.  All materials will be provided, however participants may wish to bring their own journal or art materials if desired.

These sessions are designed for those who identify as women, open to anyone aged 18 to 118! Retreats are co-delivered by Chhaya’s Artistic Director, Kay Crook and Physical Theatre Director Becca Savory-Fuller and includes activities and social time to connect with others.
