Running time: 60 minutes

Learn how to write humorous fiction and inject wit into your novel

Author Kathleen Whyman

Whether you’re writing a humorous novel, want to inject some warmth and wit into your writing, or provide some light relief after a heavy scene, this is the workshop for you. Comedy Women In Print prize finalist Kathleen Whyman talks about her approach to writing comedy; using humour to support a story; comedy genres; timing, delivery and language; the rule of three; finding inspiration; and pitfalls to avoid.

After an hour you’ll have the tools you need to embrace your inner comedian and craft prose that’ll have your readers laughing out loud. (LOL some say, but that phrase is never going to catch on!)
