About Lyrical Jazz
Combine the expressive fluidity of contemporary dance with the vibrant energy of jazz in our Lyrical Jazz dance class. This class offers a creative and emotional outlet through beautiful, flowing movements and dynamic choreography, while keeping you moving with fun and accessible routines.
Led by dance teacher Hannah Malone, this class is perfect for anyone with some dance experience who loves a true combination of dance and music and the chance to learn new routines each week. Previous experience is not essential but may help with this class.

Learn routines that blend the technical aspects of jazz with the emotive qualities of lyrical dance. Master the smooth, continuous motions that characterise lyrical dance, enhancing your grace and flexibility. Frequently Asked Questions
What shoes should I wear to my class?
Our studio floors are especially designed for your comfort and safety. They can mark easily and we ask that you wear light soled trainers (grey or white) or non-marking dance shoes. Some classes (for example ballet and tap) may require specific footwear, but trainers can also be worn to these classes. If you are new to a class, just attend in trainers and your teacher can advise for future classes.
What clothes should I wear?
Just wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing. Your teacher will advise you if you should wear anything specific in the future.
How do I know if this class is for me?
Most classes are for mixed abilities, from beginners upwards. Where you might need some knowledge, classed are marked as 'Intermediate' or 'Advanced' as an example. The front desk team can advise you on 01202 203630 if you have any questions on this.
What else should I bring?
Please bring a water bottle with you. We have water fountains to fill up your bottle.
Can I buy this class for less than the advertised price?

Do you have changing rooms?
Yes, we have changing rooms, lockers (£1 coin required), toilets and showers.
What do I do on arrival?
Please check in with the front desk team. We’ll check you in on our register and send you to the correct studio. Please note that sometimes we need to move classes around so you may not always be in the same studio.
