Youth Creative 9 – 13yrs

Our weekly youth creative dance classes, led by creative facilitator, Char Morris, are designed to cultivate creativity, expression, and confidence through dance. This class provides a fun and supportive environment where pre-teens and early teens can explore various dance styles, improve their technique, and discover their unique artistic voice.

What to Expect

Learn dynamic dance routines that blend a variety of dance styles, encouraging creativity and self-expression. Build a strong foundation with age-appropriate techniques that enhance coordination, strength, and flexibility. Dance to a diverse range of music, helping students develop rhythm, musicality, and a great appreciation for different genres. Engage in group activities and projects that promote teamwork, social skills, and creative collaboration. This class is a safe space encouraging confidence building and peer-to-peer learning.

Our Youth Creative dance class participants will spend the term developing their skills. They will have the opportunity to perform in the theatre for family and friends twice a year as part of our classes “Revue” show.

Youth Creative dance is a termly commitment, allowing young dancers to build skills, confidence, and friendships over time. 

Try a Taster Session

Not sure if this class is for you? Join us for a taster session to get a feel for what Youth Creative is all about! Taster sessions are available for one date of your choice from:

• Friday 19th September 2025
• Friday 26th September 2025
• Friday 3rd October 2025

Taster sessions are available at £5.50, and it’s the perfect way to try the class before committing for the term. After attending your taster, you can book for the rest of the term via the Box Office. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss your chance to join this exciting class!

We also run Youth Creative session for 5-9 years on Fridays at 5pm.
