Being a writer is hard: work, family, household, finding time to write and submit work in between. But you can write full time with a National Lottery Project Grant. This provides up to £30,000 so you can live while you write your novel. This talk will cover what you need to know to apply for an NLPG, including knowing when you're ready to apply; what steps the application process involves; how long it takes; what questions you will need to answer; how best to answer them, and how to involve a wider community in your project.
