About Artist conversation at Bournemouth Library
Lea Anderson, MBE, is an independent choreographer, filmmaker and artistic director from North Devon, celebrating over 40 years of style and design. She will be chatting to our Artistic Director & Joint CEO, Dr Victor Fung about her extensive career and what continues to inspire her passion for choreography and creativity.
Lea is a co-founder and artistic director of The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs companies. As well as touring extensively throughout the UK and overseas, the companies are renowned for their pioneering work in non-theatrical spaces and venues.
Lea is a great orator and has gathered many fascinating stories in her extensive career. She will be talking about her inspiration and passion for creating work, working with collaborators and her special interest in intangible cultural heritage and living collections. The event is free to attend as part of Bournemouth Library conversation series but booking is essential.
