Natural Behaviour

After the 2024 award-winning tour of Tits & Teeth, Thick & Tight present a brand-new variety show Natural Behaviour, a collection of performed portraits of human and non-human life forms.

Outrageous, beautiful, hilarious and profound, Natural Behaviour is a queer look at what it means to be natural or unnatural within ecology and society.

Thick & Tight’s distinctive mix of extraordinary dance, satire, impersonation, drag and writing will bring to life a tyrannical leopard, post-apocalyptic cockroaches, two moths in moonlight, a lamenting songbird and a lesbian seagull… and that’s just for starters!

Conceived and choreographed by Thick & Tight’s artistic duo El Perry & Danny Hay-Gordon, Natural Behaviour will tour in the company’s signature and popular fashion as a smorgasbord of short pieces, featuring stellar performers from different backgrounds.

About Thick & Tight 

Led by El Perry and Daniel Hay-Gordon, Thick & Tight is an award-wining dance theatre company who create a mix of dance, mime, theatre & drag, taking influences from a wide range of historical, political, literary and artistic subjects. Thick & Tight enjoyed sell-out successes at London International Mime Festival, Barbican and Sadler’s Wells. They are Associate Company at The Lowry and The Albany. Winner of the Offies 2024 Cabaret category for Tits & Teeth, a retrospective of an outstanding career at Shoreditch Town Hall.

Thick & Tight also create works for a range of companies and contexts. Recent commissions include V&A Museum, Ballet Central, Zfin Malta and BalletBoyz.
