Double Bill

We're delighted to welcome NDC Wales to Bournemouth who will be working with two of the UK's most dynamic choreographers as part of their 2026/27 season.

Award-winning choreographer, theatre designer, performer and teacher Theo Clinkard will restage their inaugural work Ordinary Courage, originally created in 2012. This deeply human and visually striking piece will be reimagined for a new generation of NDC Wales dancers and audiences.

We also welcome acclaimed choreographer, performer and dramaturg Alesandra Seutin, who will create a brand new work for the company. Known for her bold fusion of contemporary and African dance languages, Alesandra brings a powerful and distinctive new voice to the stage.

In this captivating double bill, audiences can expect to be delighted, entertained and inspired. Together, these works offer the perfect balance of masterful rendition and bold new creation, showcasing the very best of our dancers, stagecraft and production expertise. With wide audience appeal and rich artistic depth, this double bill promises an unforgettable dance experience for all.
