Origins is back!

Origins 2026 returns to the Ocean Theatre on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March, bringing a weekend packed with energy, creativity and outstanding young talent from across the South West.

This electrifying youth dance platform celebrates the next generation of performers, showcasing an exciting mix of Contemporary Dance, Musical Theatre Jazz and Street Dance. With 15 superb schools and youth companies taking to the stage, audiences can expect two vibrant evenings filled with passion, commitment and bold choreography.

Saturday’s line-up features Milton Abbey School, Aspiring Dancers Programme, Hampshire Youth Dance Company, Coast Youth Dance Company, Fuzzy Logic, Studio 1, Stacked Wonky and NAO. 

On Sunday, Dorset Youth Dance, Geraldine Lamb Dance Company, Somerset Youth Dance Company, Ballard School, The Remix, Rise Youth Dance Company and Dance Stables will light up the stage.

Each performance lasts approximately 90 minutes, with tickets available from £8. Audiences are reminded to ensure they book for the correct performance day.
