We’re thrilled to announce that Luke Brown will be joining Pavilion Dance as our new Associate Artist for 2026–2028. Luke Brown is a South West–based choreographer, movement director and educator creating courageous interdisciplinary dance theatre that connects people through real and imagined stories.

I’m truly honored to be appointed as Associate Artist at Pavilion Dance South West 2026-2028. This feels like the perfect next step for me, especially as my values align so closely with the work Pavilion Dance do. I’m grateful for this opportunity and excited to see where this partnership takes us.

Luke Brown, Pavilion Dance Associate Artist 2026- 28

Luke Brown is a neurodiverse, gay-identifying contemporary dance artist, choreographer, educator, and Artistic Director of Luke Brown Company. Alongside his creative practice, Luke is a Lecturer in Dance at the University of Chichester, Rehearsal Director for mapdance, and Artist Development Producer at The Point, Eastleigh.

Since founding Luke Brown Company in 2014, Luke has created inclusive, collaborative work with professional performers, young people, older adults, and disabled dancers. His choreographic commissions include projects for Candoco Dance Company, English National Ballet, BalletBoyz, Trinity Laban, DanceEast CAT, and mapdance.

Passionate about developing emerging talent, Luke founded ORB Youth DanceCompany in 2017, providing high-quality training and performance opportunities for young dancers across Hampshire.

We're delighted to welcome Luke to the Pavilion Dance community and look forward to supporting the next chapter of his exciting artistic journey.
