Lawrence began dance at age 5, studying Ballroom and Latin under the guidance of his professional dancer cousins. By 14, he was UK Latin Champion & British team captain, later becoming a World Amateur Latin Finalist. After a successful competitive career, he shifted to teaching, scoring 99% in his professional qualification, and now trains high-level competitors. He teaches with Dance Crazy Studios and as a freelance instructor across London, Germany, and at Pavilion Dance.

Expanding his repertoire, Lawrence earned a first-class degree in Contemporary Dance from AUB and now teaches as a visiting tutor there. He completed an apprenticeship with Jasmin Vardimon Company, performing in their UK tour of 'Tomorrow', & has appeared in TV and film, including Netflix's 'Thanks For the Memories'.
