Getting to the venue: If arriving by car, the nearest parking spaces are in the Pavilion Car Park with assistance via the Pavilion Theatre complex outdoor lift to the right of the building down to the Lower Gardens Terrace. Alternatively, the Bath Road car park is to the rear of the building and provides step free access to the building via the slope between the Pavilion Ballroom and the flyover.
Approaching the venue: The Pavilion complex is set into a natural slope. Approaching from the front, take the right hand pathway around the building. There is a significant set of steps down to the terrace where we are situated or an outdoor lift operated by BCP Council. From the rear of the venue there is step free access through the Lower Gardens by approaching the flyover and turning left or via Bath Road by turning down the access road (steep slope).
Entering the venue: We have automated doors. The reception desk / box office is just in front and to the right and the bar is in front and to the left.
Getting around the venue: We have accessible all gender toilets on every level of the building with lift access. For our seated performances, if you have booked a wheelchair space, we’ll have configured your row correctly in advance. If you have not booked a space yet, please let us know. We have a loop system if you need to augment your audio experience in the Ocean Room.
If there is a problem during your visit: All of our staff and volunteers have badges and / or uniforms on and are here to help.
When you leave: If you’d like us to call you a taxi, please let us know. We are always looking at ways to improve access so if you’d like to feed back on any of our facilities after your visit, please email the Venue Manager info@pdsw.org.uk
