In addition to our Learning Associate Programme and youth workshop opportunities, we offer continued professional development for both school staff and freelance dance artists. These can be either on a one-to-one or group basis where requested.

Inclusive Practice for Mainstream Educators: Working with Dance and Creative movement
Fri 16th October 2026 | 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | £50 pp
For PE, Dance & Performing Arts Leads
This Inclusive Dance CPD, is delivered by Sports Development Officer (Twynham Learning) and SEN dance specialist, Christina Binney, and Performing Arts Teacher at Victoria SEN School, Joanne Collingbourne. This 2 hour practical session will focus on inclusive practice in mainstream PE and Dance settings, supporting staff to better understand the diverse needs of students with SEND, particularly ADHD and autistic learners.
Recommended for core PE and Dance staff (across Primary and Secondary) and any Class Teachers who deliver movement-based activities with their classes
The session will explore how SEND may present in physical and movement-based learning and how teaching approaches can be adapted to promote inclusion, engagement, and regulation. Staff will be introduced to practical, movement-based strategies that support participation for all students, alongside the use of inclusive language to reframe behaviour and build positive relationships. The CPD also covers how to plan and deliver accessible dance lessons that foster creative, supportive learning environments, promoting confidence, motivation and meaningful participation for students with a wide range of needs.
