Are you a dance artist with a work-in-progress to share? Would you benefit from gaining peer and audience feedback in a relaxed, informal setting? If so, the ‘New Waves’ Scratch Night could be for you!

New Waves Artist, March 2026

We are seeking up to 4 works-in-progress to share on Thursday 24 September 2026 (evening).  Each work should be up to a maximum of 15 minutes long. 

What’s involved 

Rehearsal space is provided both the day before and on the day as required. All acts have time on stage to space their work. 

Each act receives a cash bursary of £150 and an equal share of the box office. 

All presentations are informal and take place in working light. 

Your work will be introduced by our Performances team. After all presentations, the audience is divided into smaller groups for your structured feedback session. Two feedback groups can be chaired by our Performances team.
